What is the storyline of ‘Through My Window: Across the Sea’?

The film Through My Window is inspired by Ariana Godoy’s novel of the same name ‘A través de mi Ventana in Spanish, which offers an ambiguous but uplifting conclusion to Raquel and Ares.
Even although Raquel and Ares were deeply in love, they decided to separate because the two attended different universities. Ares intended to pursue medication, and Raquel pursued literature.
But the film’s closing scene shows Ares breaking through Raquel’s window, apparently still in love with him.
The sequel starts where the first left off, with our young love birds discovering that long-distance romance is tougher than they expected. There will even be expected hurdles in their relationship, including whether Ares’ brother will in fact welcome Raquel.
