Aggretsuko Season 5 Finale Explained

Let’s look at something to help you understand how Season 5 of Aggretsuko ended.
Haida is slacking off and still unemployed as Aggretsuko season 5 opens, and rumors about his situation run rampant at Retsuko’s workplace.
Despite his assurances to Retsuko that he will get a job, he spends most of his time playing video games as things pile up around him, and he has officially adopted a lazy lifestyle.
Later, he even experienced eviction from his flat and held Jiro, his younger brother, humiliating him. Retsuko, meantime, will also talk to him as he organizes his life.
He first failed to accomplish this despite taking on a demanding job at a construction site. But with Retsuko’s help, he improves barely and gets a job at a grocery store.
After helping Retsuko with her election campaign, she quits her job. Eventually, he found another, but his job after Aggretsuko season five is still a mystery.
In his own election, Jiro won handily. The turnout was over 75%, setting a new record, but all of Retsuko’s supporters belonged to an oppressed and non-voting segment of society.
When Jiro visits Haida the next day, Retsuko congratulates him on his win and notes that he did not knock the guy out.
As for Retsuko and Haida, they return to their daily jobs at work, with Retsuko crammed into the subway and Haida getting a nice office job where he at least enjoys going to work.
As for Shikabane, he becomes motivated to improve his life and find a job.
Who is to blame for Haida’s truck accident?

Although a vehicle approximately kills him, Haida makes it out alive. Retsuko ran towards him and was fully shocked to see him sitting on the pavement, his hands shaking and his mind going blank.
Haida speculates that this is another sneaky ploy of their rivals to scare them away, but he thinks it goes too far.
Retsuko was devastated by this, and she stated with tears in her eyes that she wouldn’t be participating in the race.
Haida urges him to continue their fight and take action for people like Shikabane who have given up on their lives, while his newfound tenacity revives him.
When Jiro meets his brother and Retsuko at the end of Aggretsuko season 5, Haida believes Jiro didn’t cause the truck accident.
