Silent Hill: Downpour, the most recent version, was released in 2012. In 2012, Silent Hill began developing a new game. However, the project was cancelled after the release of P.T. (a popular teaser game). Many fans are still eagerly awaiting the game’s release.
Given the fact that Kojima & del Toro have moved on to a new partnership in 2019’s Death Stranding, it seems unlikely that Silent Hills will resurface. According to recent rumors, the next Silent Hill game is being developed by Bloober Team.
