With a mixture of romance, crime mystery and a surprising setting, Cannes Confidential might be a terrific summer show to take viewers on an exotic vacation!
Acorn TV is generally the most suitable option for a crime thriller with a little bit of fun and goofy weirdness. Nothing is as entertaining as a crime drama set in an exotic country.
One with two matching pairs is also fun. With Cannes Confidential, the upcoming show from Acorn TV, you can enjoy the fun on the French Riviera while discovering some interesting criminal cases and charming couples.
While Cannes is known for its esteemed film festival, it also serves as a beautiful vacation destination and home to many of Europe’s rich and famous. As a result, when a crime occurs, the optics is enough for the police to try to solve the case.

Camille Delmasse is an earnest investigator keen to work to solve murders and keep the French Riviera safe.
This gets complicated when a delightful con man arrives. Harry King wants to solve some crimes, but his reasons are clear.
Things get so much more complicated when Camille tries to show that her father wasn’t some dishonest officer. As a former National Police Chief, he faces jail for corruption, and everybody believes he did. Everyone except Harry, who made a bargain with Camille to let him go.
How about Camille’s co-worker, Léa Robert? Camille’s wing lady seems interested in something going on between Camille and Harry. After all, there’s chemistry. Maybe he’d go after Harry himself.
Apart from the immense beauty of the Cote d’Azur, which the series rightly highlights as it was the first English-language serial set in the 1970s, Cannes Confidential also has high-speed drives and well-choreographed action sequences.
