Carnival Row Season 2: It’s a Wrap! BTS Hints at Major Changes

Amazon Studio’s neonoir fantasy series star shared behind-the scenes images from Carnival Row Season 2. This is a hint at the needed production update. Orlando Bloom recently took to Instagram to reflect on his time on set. The streamer renewed the show in 2019 for a second run. It took nearly three years for filming to resume – this was due to both the pandemic and the schedule of the cast.

Carnival Row was created by Travis Beacham, Rene Echevarria and revolves around the mythical creature that fled their war-torn homeland. The city’s growing population of immigrants created tension between the settlers and citizens. As the drama moves to the madness and brutality of power, as well as social adjustments, it reveals more about the relationship between the mystical creature of man and the human being.

Carnival Row Season 2: Is Production Completed Yet?

Amazon renewed the series in July 2019 for a second run. After a few months, production started in November 2019. The majority of scenes were shot before the March 2020 shutdown. As the star revealed in an interview, the half-part was already completed. Amazon decided to not split the season in two. So they could film the remaining scenes that involve Orlando, the filming of the second run was halted in August 2020 in the Czech Republic.

He was unable to film the scenes because Katy Perry was pregnant. We later learned that the series filmed scenes in Prague as well as Doksany and Liberec. He captioned, “What a gift!” He enjoyed his Carnival Row Season 2 experience in his long post and had fun with the rest of the cast.

Behind-The Scenes Teases a New Look

The cast and Amazon Studios kept fans entertained while they shared some interesting tidbits on the filming of the second series. The show’s official Facebook page posted four new photos of the cast shortly after it had finished filming. The photos teased a lot about season 2, while also hinting at some characters’ fates.

One picture shows Orlando, who is bloody and wet, watching a video clip with the other crew. The other images showed Cara Delevingne in her new look for the next season. It seems that she may lose her pinion. It looks like it will be a difficult season for Philo and Vignette. Another image shows a tension-filled scene between Agreus astrayon (David Gyasi), and Imogen Spurnrose, (Tamzin Merchant).

Jonah established a Fae ghetto in the city, forcing them to abandon the city. They were forbidden from ever interacting with humans again. Philo, however, decided to explore his half-fae heritage. He joined Vignette and other Fae in this quest. It seems that Philo’s decision will have a severe impact on his next run. He’s neither a Fae nor a human.

It becomes very difficult for him to mix with them. In the meantime, Agreus and Imogen escaped from The Burgue at the end. We saw them being chased by someone. It appears that they must be careful to avoid danger.
