End of Creed III Explained: Michael B. Jordan is the director and star of the 2023 American sports drama Creed III, which Keenan Coogler And Zach Baylin write.
The film is a continuation of the events that occurred in Creed II (2018), making it the third film in the Creed franchise and the ninth installment in the Rocky film series.
The world premiere of Creed III took place in Mexico City on February 9, 2023. And the film was released in the United States by United Artists Releasing on March 3, 2023, while internationally it was distributed by Warner Bros. Critics gave the film very favorable reviews.
In Creed III, the history and future of Adonis Creed are examined. When Dame abruptly reappears in Adonis Creed’s life, he’s shocked.
Dame challenges Adonis to war after revealing what she really wants and the lengths she will go to accomplish it. Creed is not going to let Dame win because he wants to show that he’s the better of the best.
History between childhood friends adds plenty of tension to a boxing match. After 12 rounds, Creed emerged victorious and was able to make amends with Dame; they no longer harbor any ill will for each other.
Adonis, his daughter, and Bianca briefly fight in the ring at the end of Creed III before leaving together. Continue reading for details on the ending of Creed III.
Creed III Ending Explained: Why Didn’t Rocky Attend Mary-Anne’s Funeral In Creed 3?
Despite appearing in the first two Creed films, Rocky Balboa, as played by Sylvester Stallonedidn’t appear at all in Creed III.
Interestingly, Rocky Balboa wasn’t even greeted until Mary-Anne Creed, Creed’s mother passed away after suffering her second stroke. It’s odd that Rocky did not attend his funeral or call Creed, considering how well they knew one another and how often he checked in on him.
It’s possible that Rocky was fighting elsewhere and could not make it back to Los Angeles in time for the funeral. He may have made contact with Creed off-screen.
Instead of leaving the audience guessing about Rocky’s absence at Mary-Anne’s funeral, an evidence may be provided for his absence, which is preferable.
Why Did Adonis Beat Dame In Creed III’s Final Battle?
There’s not much else Adonis Creed can do in the boxing world after he won the title. Adonis is forced to accept Dame’s challenge to defend her championship on live television after she challenges him to do so.
Creed had the option to refuse, but he never backed down from battle, and he had a lot to prove to himself in addition to Damian.
To protect his championship title, uphold his honor, and show himself that he’s not one to back down from fighting as an adult, Creed must win an anime-inspired boxing match.
Fighting Dame demonstrates all of these points, and Creed’s victory shows Dame that he’s the best player in the world and is unbeatable.
Creed needs to show himself that the title he is won is something he has worked hard for and that Dame’s superior boxing skills have not left him to chance. After all, Creed had worked hard to get the life he had, and it would be a disgrace if he failed against Dame.
How did Creed III set the scene for Creed 4?

Michael B. Jordan has stated that Creed 4 will go into production, although Creed III hasn’t offered much evidence that Adonis will be returning in the next installment.
In addition to a possible Viktor Drago spinoff, Creed III recommends character-centric spinoffs Jonathan Major, who recently started his boxing career. Creed IV may feature Adonis Creed’s daughter, Amara Creed, as she begins her boxing career after Creed III sees Adonis retire.
Creed III proves Amara is a large boxing fan who even attends each one of her father’s matches. It is feasible that Creed 4 will take place several years after Creed III when Amara is still a teenager preparing for her first fight with her father. This is because the Creed movies contain time jumps.
Adonis was intent on helping others and devoting his time to training, so he reasoned that he should start with his own daughter.
From her father, Amara may have learned how to fight effectively, and from her mother, Bianca, she may have learned how to better communicate her emotions. It has plenty of potential and would be an amazing way to continue the Adonis Creed saga.
