Exploding Kittens started as a Kickstarter campaign for a card game but quickly became popular and have become the most supported project in Kickstarter history.
Exploding Kittens series officially announced by Netflix in April 2022, nearly a month before mobile games are converted for Netflix Games.

When Will the Netflix Series Exploding Kittens be Released?
The first release of the series is claimed to be released sometime in 2023.
Netflix announced a release date for the series in Fall 2023 during the Netflix event Upfronts in May 2023.
During the 2023 Annecy Film Festival in France, Netflix plans to show a special clip from Kittens Exploding. Mark your calendars! The festival is confirmed from 11 June to 17 June 2023.

What is the Netflix Series ‘Kittens Exploding’ About?
The animated series will follow the “eternal conflict between Heaven and Hell” which intensifies after God and the Devil are delivered to Earth and trapped in the bodies of fat domestic cats.
Exploding Kittens – This game will be available to Netflix users without paying additional fees or making in-app purchases when it launches directly on the mobile edition platform. Instead, the game will be a digital version of a traditional card game.
In this game, players draw cards from a deck of various abilities. However, they need to watch out not to choose the “exploding kitten” card, which will result in losing the game.
The latest edition of the game will also include two unique cards with new powers, with plans to introduce additional exclusive cards to be related to the series in the future.
