What happened at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?

In the decisive battle, Kraglin and Cosmo fly on the Knowhere station to fight the High Evolutionary spaceships. Gamora, Groot, Rocket and Peter received the support they needed.

On top of that, they managed to help the kids escape and arrive at Knowhere station. But things did not stop there.
The High Evolutionary will have a long battle with Rocket Raccoon. Rocket finds additional boxes and cages after the convicts manage to escape. Raccoon written on one container.
He discovers that he’s a raccoon, just as Peter had predicted when he finally opened a package marked “raccoon”. Unfortunately, the High Evolutionary attacked him when he stopped.
Fortunately, the Guardian helps him, defeating the bad guy together. The surviving animals were then rescued. Even although Peter has a near death experience, the group survives.
The biggest surprise in the film is possibly this. Plus, the two post-credits scenes have their own unique twists.
Each Guardian believes they must choose what to do next. Peter feels it is time to return to Earth and deal with the family he left behind, so he hands over control of the Guardians to Rocket and hands over his Zune.
Mantis chooses to embark on a solo quest for self-discovery with the help of her new friend Abilisk after realizing that she too must decide who she wants to become.
Since Drax’s paternal instincts were critical to raising a new generation of humans, Nebula left the Guardians with the goal of raising the kids they saved together.
Although now getting along well with the Guardians, Gamora ultimately returned to the Ravagers. Rocket and Groot are the only remaining Guardians of the Galaxy continuing to defend the cosmos.
How Exactly Is High Evolution Beaten?

The Guardians beat High Evolutionary after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The High Evolutionary is seen in the finale of the film before disappearing after confronting his army in a spaceship.
In the end, he appears and confronts Rocket in the holding cell where the High Evolutionary previously imprisoned the raccoon in his life.
As a result, the Guardians and their enemies engage in battle, with each member helping to defeat the bad guy.
However, Rocket refuses to kill the High Evolutionary because he claims to be a Guardian, which causes the ship to explode while the antagonist is still around, leading to his death.
Who are the Guardians of the Galaxy explained in the end credits scene?

Original cast members Rocket and Groot are joined by Warlock, Kraglin, the telekinetic space dog Cosmo, and white-haired Phyla, one of the kids they saved from the High Evolutionary, in the opening end credits sequence.
They are seen traveling to a planet in the desert and quietly waiting to deal with a lurking fox-like extraterrestrial beast that’s terrorizing the inhabitants.
