It features Hogwarts Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black, Hogwarts Deputy Headmaster Professor Matilda Weasley, the Sorting Hat, Nearly Headless Nick, and a host of other characters.
The wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy is home to a lot of characters, all of which are available for players to interact with as they progress through the game. Some of these are immediately recognizable to players as part of the Potterverse lore, while others are brand new additions made particularly for the game. Hogwarts Legacy Voice Cast Revealed
The first piece of information published by WB Games Avalanche is that Simon Pegg will be voicing the character Phineas Nigellus Black. Phineas Nigellus Black is the great-grandfather of Sirius Black III, who will become the Headmaster of Hogwarts for so long as the player spends at the school. Pegg referred to the character as “self-involved, short-tempered, and a bit childish” in one of his descriptions.
Along with Pegg’s role as Headmaster of Hogwarts, Lesley Nicol will play Professor Matilda Weasley in Hogwarts Legacy, according to WB Games Avalanche. Potter fans will be more than happy to find Weasleys in the game, particularly considering the community maintainer dropped hints that “a Weasley or two” might have appeared in the previous year’s game.

1. Professor Matilda Weasley will be voiced by Lesley Nicol
The Vice Headmaster, Professor Matilda Weasley, will represent another famous family on the Hogwarts staff. Lesley Nicol, who you may recognize from her work on Downton Abbey and Amazon Prime’s The Boys, will voice Ron’s ancestor.
2. Avenclaw students Amit Thakkar and Mahendra Pehlwaan will be voiced by Asif Ali
Amit Thakkar will be voiced by Asif Ali, who is an clever and well-read student at Ravenclaw who will help the protagonist.
3. Nearly Headless Nick will be voiced by Jason Anthony
Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, better known as Nick, the Gryffindor house ghost, is jovial and charming if a little cocky. If Gryffindor players are ready to help him with a little bit of rotting roast beef, he just might be the key to helping them find the information needed to solve an awesome mystery.
4. Everett Clopton will be voiced by Luke Youngblood
Luke Youngblood, who played Lee Jordan in the films, will voice Everett Clopton, a rule-breaker and troublemaker of the Ravenclaw mix.
5. Professor Satyavati Shah will be voiced by Sohm Kapila
Sohm Kapila voices Professor Satyavati Shah, a professor of astronomy. Professor Shah, who had been brought up in the Muggle world, was very interested in science and tended to lecture his students in pompous and long-winded speeches.
6. Professor Onai will be voiced by Kandace Caine
Professor Onai, voiced by Kandace Caine, is a brilliant Astrologer whose faith in his visions is compromised by the proven fact that he failed to foretell the death of his partner. He previously taught divination at Uagadou, the biggest magical establishment in the world.
7. Mahendra Pehlwaan will be voiced by Asif Ali
Mahendra Pehlwaan, another Ravenclaw student, is voiced by Asif Ali. He is a muggle-born rule keeper who has become so aggressive that even the instructors tire of him.
8. The playable avatar will be voiced by Sebastian Croft / Amelia Geting
Both Sebastian Croft and Amelia Geting provide voice-over and customizable game avatars, allowing players to become any wizard they like.
9. The Sorting Hat will be voiced by Jason Anthony
To determine which Hogwarts home is best suited, the famous Sorting Hat, a living magic hat, considers information from the student’s past in addition to input from the player.
Players will be capable to modify their avatar’s voice in Hogwarts Legacy, allowing them to “polish their persona to full detail,” according to a Wizarding World article on the game’s voice cast roster.
