The first trailer for Is It Cake, Too Season 2’s wacky cooking competition, like edible art, is here! Is That Cake? The concept is in the title, but the series execution makes it lovely.
The show may sound as stupid as shit, with hyper-realistic cookie makers competing to mislead people into thinking their cakes are the real thing, but the series is pure magic.
Is It Cake Too? looks to be gearing up for an incredible season 2 on Netflix, with some new aspects and more on Mikey Day knowing nothing about cake.

In the trailer, host Mikey Day asks, “Is that cake?” as she digs into this array of delicious displays, from leather boots to metal safes filled with cash.
Each week, bakers work tooth and nail to create sculptural candies that should fool the judges, including Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause, Chloe Fineman, Joel Kim Booster, and the D’Amelio family.
Any viewer would ask the titular question after seeing a trompe l’oeil cake or a cake that mimics commonplace objects like a water cooler or a kettlebell.
The show has upped the ante this season, with ten bakers from around the country competing for the $100,000 grand prize.
This time, however, players will face elimination at the end of every episode. The trailer shows the growing chaos in the kitchen, such as a fire burning over one of the contestants’ work.
“What do I do if I can’t win this?” Marek worries in the trailer. The bigger ultimate prize sweetens the pot. “I have to put everything into this,” Allen said, “because I want the money.”
Day teased, “Season two is just nuts,” as she busts into some fake cookies and her real equivalent before the camera switches to a movie of the host biting his microphone.
