Among them is the famous Hollywood actress, Rebel Wilson, who was recently revealed to have given auditions for the next James Bond film. After hosting the 2022 BAFTA film awards, film producers were impressed by her.
And with regards to all of this stuff then it is not clear for now. The actress is now making her presence at the Cannes Film Festival to launch her directorial debut The Deb.
Will Rebel Wilson Join James Bond?
The Deb is a screen adaptation of the Australian musical comedy. Rebel Wilson has also talked about getting into the director’s chair and has also hosted a film awards ceremony. Talking about film awards then probably the most controversial things that happened was him roasting the British Royal Family.
When talking about James Bond later Rebel Wilson said that she had to remove some of the James Bond related jokes while talking to producers before hosting the show.
And for the same reason, he was in direct contact with the producers which eventually led to auditions.
The actress said that she was pressured about the role which was obviously not for James Bond but for an additional character in the same film. When it comes to auditions, it will already occur in the final year of 2022.
Talking about the results of this casting, the actress looks diplomatic. And for the same reason, many fans think that he might get the role and that is the reason why he did not reveal it.
Rebel Wilson called it the most difficult performance and said: “Because two hours before, [they were like] ‘Let’s change everything.’ So I had to get up there and swing it. There’s so much chaos in the show. Certain people did not come and then they changed the show order.”
