Graham Yost has directed the upcoming sci-fi tv series ‘Silo’ which is adapted from the author’s Silo novel series Hugh Howey.
The plot is set in a toxic dystopian future where giant silos protect the whole community. Silos consist of hundreds of levels and can be found deep underground. In that community they live under strict rules that are manipulated into believing they exist to protect them.
When Will Silos Be Released?

The Silo series was first announced as being in development at 20th Century Fox as a feature film. After being shelved because of Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the project was renewed again on July 30, 2018, but this time for television.
Finally the series moved to Apple+ TV three years later. Rebecca Ferguson was announced as the main character at the time of the order announcement.
Other cast members joined the series in the following months. Apple TV+ released the series’ official trailer on YouTube on April 6 this year. The series is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2023.
The first two episodes will be available that day with more episodes releasing weekly until June 30th.

Rebecca Ferguson-

In the role of the protagonist Juliette, we will see a Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson. Ferguson’s numerous film and TV series roles brought him a number of awards.
From 1999 to 2000 she played Anna Gripenhielm on the Swedish soap ‘His Tider’. In 2013 she played the lead role of Elizabeth Woodville in the BBC One historical drama series ‘White Queen‘.
The following year she also played the Biblical character Dinah in the American tv miniseries ‘The Red Tent’.

American rapper Lonnie Rashid Lynn has been cast as Sims. Familiar with his stage name Generalhe has starred in a number of television series and films.
In 2009 he starred as a commentator on the documentary miniseries ‘Black to the Future’. From 2011 to 2014 she played the lead role of Elam Ferguson in the American/Canadian television series ‘West’Hell on wheels‘.
As Rafiq, he starred in the American drama series ‘The Chi’ from 2018 to 2019 while also serving as an executive producer.
In 2021 he played the recurring character Dr. Chris Jackson in the popular American comedy-drama series ‘Never Have I Ever’.
David Oyelowo-

As Holston, we will see a British-American actor on the series David Oyelowo. Among his numerous tv series, there’s ‘Star Wars Rebels’ in which he had the voice role of Alexsandr Kallus from 2014 to 2018.
He also voiced the evil lion Scar in the American animated tv series ‘The Lion Guard’ based on ‘The Lion King’. As Javert, he had a role in the British tv series ‘Les Misérables from 2018 to 2019.
In 2021 he starred as the main character Edward in the BBC One four-part tv thriller ‘The Girl Before’.
Iain Glen-

As Pete Nichols, we will see the Scottish actor Iain Glen in series. He is very popular as the actor who played Ser Jorah Mormont in HBO’s epic fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones‘.
Among his previous television credits, there’s the 1992 British Australian tv drama ‘Frankie’s House’ in which he played Tim Page, a British-Australian photographer best known for his work on the Vietnam War.
In 2005 he played Scottish soldier Alan Breck in the two-part BBC tv series ‘Kidnapped’. Glen’s other television credits include ‘The City of Vice’, ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’, ‘Downton Abbey‘, ‘Prisoner’s Wife’, ‘Red Tent’, ‘Smart Man’, ‘Delicious’, ‘Mrs. Wilson’, ‘Titans’, ‘Reyka’ etc. In ‘Game of Thrones’ he starred from 2011 to 2019 in fifty two episodes.

American actress Rashida Jones has played Allison. He is best known for his roles in ‘Parks and Recreation’ and ‘The Office’.
Other television credits include ‘The Last Don’, ‘Boston Public’, ‘Wanted’, ‘Angie Tribeca’, ‘BlackAF’ etc. He will even be starring in the upcoming dark comedy series ‘Sunny’.

Portrays the Bernard Academy Award-winning American actor and filmmaker Tim Robbins will be seen in the series.
He won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Dave Boyle in the neo-noir crime drama film ‘Mystic River’.
Harriet Walter-

British actress Harriet Walter will be seen playing Martha Walker in the upcoming series.
Her television credits include ‘A Dorothy L. Sayers Mystery’, ‘The Men’s Room’, ‘Unfinished Business’, ‘Little Dorrit’, ‘Hunter’, ‘Law & Order: UK’, ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘The Assets’, ‘London spy’, ‘Crown’, ‘Flower’, ‘Princess of Spain’, ‘This Will Hurt’ etc.
