Jon Snow would be followed after those events Game of Thrones season finale when he was banished to the Night’s Watch as part of the political settlement after killing Daenerys Targaryen.
So naturally, since the news broke, the questions have been pouring in George RR Martinauthor of A Song of Ice and Fire, who played Jon Snow for the full eight seasons of the original program.
He has now created a blog post on the subject, adding some new facts and verifying some of the information we previously knew.
Snow found out in the last season that his name is Aegon Targaryen and that he may be the next Iron Throne. But in the end, he was banished from Westeros and traveled with the Wildlings north of the Wall. All surviving characters may appear in later series as it’s set after the events of Game of Thrones.


Many Game of Thrones Characters Will Perform Their Roles In John Snow.

Everything that surrounds the plot of Game of Thrones is thrilling. Many of the main cast members of wonderful programs like John Snow have the potential to return, and it makes perfect sense to see them reprising their roles as stars of the Game of Thrones spin-off.
George RR Martin confirmed, seeing famous old figures would be interesting. Also looking to return is Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth. Fans absolutely love Brienne of Tarth and will take every opportunity to see her again.

However, one of the previous cast members has left the show: Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke has no plans to return to the role of John Snow as she wants to move forward with finding new chapters for her acting career.
While Martin provided plenty of excellent news for Game of Thrones fans, he also made it clear that these projects haven’t yet received the green light and there’s no certainty that any of them will be broadcast.
The scripts for the four successors in the series are currently being written. Drafts of the first, second, and third scenarios and the official framework and treatment have all been reported.
Kit Harington approached HBO with the concept for the Jon Snow program.

Martin revealed that the idea for the program was pitched to them by actor Kit Harrington, who also brought his crew along for the production.
In a recent interview, Emilia Clarke stated that Kit came up with the concept for Snow. Therefore, that section was omitted. Martin confirmed it KitHarington has presented his idea to us. He said that he had contributed to the making of this presentation.
Martin wasn’t the showrunner on either of these projects, just for the comfort of your mind if you are worried this might keep him from completing The Winds of Winter, the highly anticipated sixth book in his series of novels. It looks like he is also creating scenarios, once we hear it differently.
