Rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, is preparing for one more court battle after photographer Nichol Lechmanik filed a complaint against him, accusing him of harassment and causing mental distress.

The photojournalist said that when the fight occurred, he photographed the disagreement between the rapper and another photographer.

When the rapper confronted other photographers, Lechmanik was concerned that Ye had a gun on him.
He snatched my phone from my hand in a rage and angrily threw it on the road as he reached into my car as if he was going to hit me.
I have not been able to feel the same since he made me feel such terror. He had no right to hit me, attack me, or scare me into my profession, he said.
Lechmanik’s business partner, who was recording from his passenger seat, said Ye moved to the side of the car and gave them “death stares” while the entire thing was recorded on tape. He reported the incident to the Sheriff’s Office the same day.
Ye began making a beeline for police enforcement in the weeks after their encounter, as he did on Valentine’s Day every time photographers approached him.
Lechmanic charged Ye with assault, beating and recklessness. Interestingly, he’s also seeking a court order prohibiting Ye from touching, harassing, or threatening others.

Lechmanik insists he all the time acts respectfully when doing his job, despite being questioned for allegedly violating celebrity privacy, and he now wants the artist to pay for his actions.
It’s worth mentioning that Kanye West previously had legal issues about disputes with photographers. Ye was named a suspect in the investigation when Lechmanik reported the incident to the local sheriff’s office. Still, no charges have been filed against him since the photographer opted not to.
According to State Attorney’s Office records, the phone box suffered minor damage of up to $30. Lechmanic is currently suing for assault, violence, and negligence because he was insulted and traumatized.
Confrontations between paparazzi and celebrities are common. Actors and singers often complain about being harassed and attacked by people who follow them relentlessly.
The Lechmanic affair is the latest in a series of scandals that have swept the West recently. Although he remains a well known figure in the music business, many have questioned his mental stability and fitness as a public figure as a result of his unpredictable behavior and divisive remarks.
