Jeff Rake, creator of Manifest, is talking to Matt Long, Zeke Landon’s character, about returning for Season 4. Long’s Zeke Landon, a hiker trapped in a cave by a gale, was first introduced in season 2.
Everyone assumed he was dead for one year, just like the missing passenger on the plane. He returned to receive Calling the same way as the passengers. After saving Cal Stone’s lives, Landon became the first person to avoid his death date. Will he be back for the final season of the series? Let’s find out.
Manifest Season 4: Will Matt Long Return?
Deadline has learned that Matt Long is currently in negotiations with the creator to be a regular series regular for the fourth episode. Long has been busy working on his drama pilot Gateway, which NBC is airing on NBC. The network decided to end the series. Long has been made available to his other projects, which include Manifest. It’s not clear if he will return for the final run.
Long suggested last month that he plans to return to Manifest Season 4 in some capacity at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. He and Jeff are currently trying to determine his role and the length of time he will be on the show. Long also said that he was devastated when NBC cancelled the show in a backstage interview. However, Netflix selected the show for its fourth season. It was far more than they could have hoped for. Long is excited to be back on the show, regardless of whether he will return as a series regular.
Has Production Begun Yet?
Production Weekly reports that Manifest Season 4 is in production. It was teased on the site that filming would begin in November 2021. It is still unclear what timeframe Jeff mentioned after the revival of the series. We can therefore expect the series to begin production sooner than expected. It was also confirmed that the fourth season would film in New York, just like the previous three seasons.
It will be filmed in Queens, but it could also film in New York City. The series also followed strict production protocols for the third season. The global health crisis is under control and the fourth season will be filmed according to the same protocol. The creator, cast and crew seem eager to travel around the globe in its fourth season.
Season 4 of Manifest: Is it the End?
NBC’s top show, Manifest, is still on the air. However, the network cancelled the series during its second season. The series was originally scheduled to run for six seasons. However, NBC abruptly ended the series’ second season. However, devoted fans signed a petition in support of Manifest. This led to Netflix adding the show to its streaming giant. The show received great ratings. Netflix soon ordered 20 more episodes, which could air in the second half. Netflix announced that the fourth season will be the final.
