Mulligan’s Teaser Review of Upcoming Netflix Animated Series
There are now 1,132 people left on Earth, and Matty Mulligan has been chosen as the next president to try to change things.
The first look at the new trailer shows a world totally falling apart. Everything was falling apart, there was anarchy, and newly installed President Matty Mulligan had no idea what he was doing.
But despite the challenges, he did his best. Mulligan quickly learned that being in control was more challenging than it seemed as he, First Lady Lucy Suwan, and others tried to reform society.
While we have not reached the alien invasion-level craziness yet, the clip also pokes fun at modern American culture.
Whether the answer is justified or not, the program often plays out widespread crisis hysteria.
The series framework also highlights the risks of repeating the past. One character remembers a time when everybody was complacent and wanted to return America to its former glory.
