Red Dead Redemption 2 Nvidia DLSS showcases new upgrades

Rockstar has launched the Nvidia DLSS upgrade to Red Dead Redemption 2 on GeForceRTX laptops and PCs. This upgrade significantly improves performance and enhances the user experience. This update was released on July 13. The update allows RTX laptop owners and RTX PC owners to experience the Nvidia DLSS gameplay. Rockstar revealed the PC update free of charge during an Nvidia keynote in June. It promised to deliver amazing performance and graphical enhancements.

Nvidia DLSS is worth the upgrade because it works with Tensor Core AI CPUs on RTX GPUs. This allows for a significant improvement in any game’s graphical performance and visual response. This technology increases frame rates, which can almost double the enjoyment of the game. Numerous game developers have already adopted DLSS support in their games. Rainbow Six: Siege, Call of Duty: Warzone have both received DLSS support within the last few months.

Rockstar Games is the latest game publisher to adopt DLSS to increase the performance of its games. We don’t think it would surprise us if they also release DLSS support Grand Theft Auto 5. It might be worth it, as GTA 6 has been out of the picture for at most a few months. Red Dead Redemption 2 players who have access to GeForce RTX PCs and laptops can now enjoy a performance boost that “accelerates performances by up to 45% @ 4K.” Nvidia also shared a comparison video showing the differences between Red Dead 2 running with DLSS off and on.

These results are impressive at Full HD and 4k gaming. 60 frames per frame is the maximum for RTX3070s and higher. With the latest update, the game’s image quality has improved to its best. These features can be toggled by simply going to the Graphics tab in the Settings menu. We’d love to hear your opinions about the new update.
