The unfinished Sanditon by Jane Austen has been adapted into a British Regency-era drama television series entitled Sanditon.
Andrew Davies and Simon Langton directed the program. As part of the anthology series Masterpiece, Sanditon airs on ITV in the UK and PBS in the US.
According to CinemaBlend, the third season of Sanditon will be released PBS on Sunday, March 19, 2023, 9:00 p.m. ET. The series, which takes place in Regency-era England, follows a young woman as she discovers what life was like in her namesake town.

The final season of Sanditon will premiere Sunday, March 19 at 9 p.m. EST, according to PBS, and new episodes will be released weekly thereafter.
Sanditon Season 3 Episode 2 will be released on PBS on March 23, 2023.

What’s Sanditon’s Season 3 Plot?
The second season of Sanditon ends with a cliffhanger when Charlotte, widower Alexander Colbourne’s real love interest, travels to Willingdon, Sussex, and gets engaged to a local man she does not love.
Charlotte will return to Sanditon in the third and final season with a new fiancé and possibly some bad encounters with Colbourne. As the usual extravagant celebration, this one for Georgiana Lambe’s 21st birthday, was planned, Charlotte and Colbourne’s unresolved sentiments and unanswered issues also attended.
Georgiana is asked to take on “shocking new challenges” as well, and she will receive help from unforeseen places. Despite everything, the relationship between Charlotte and Georgiana will only strengthen as they each face their struggles.
How many episodes of Sanditon are there?
There are eight episodes in Season 1 Sanditon. There were six episodes in Season 2. Season 3 will include six episodes rather than the 8–10 that has been speculated online, as we have confirmed with PBS.
There will be 20 episodes across all three Sanditon seasons.
Will there be a fourth season of Sanditon?
Viewers will not be contented to learn that Series 3 will be the show’s final season, only renewed for two more seasons. At the very least, the program would end this time on its own terms.
