Star Wars Visions Season 2 Ending Explained
Aau, our protagonist, is introduced when he harvests berries in nature. He got very excited when he saw a spaceship approaching his house one day.
The ship belonged to an outsider who had at all times intrigued him. His father, Abat, tried to calm him down, but Aau could not help himself.
Abat and his colleagues seem to be kyber crystal mining professionals. These crystals are some of the galaxy’s most sought-after gems, and Jedi use them to create lightsabers.
Their guest is in fact a Jedi. Aau sneaks off to see what the Jedi, Kratu, and his father are up to. Kratu takes the contaminated crystal with him. The broken crystal glows red and is used by the Sith Lords.
When Aau felt the crystal calling him, he began to sing, and the crystal responded. He stopped before anything happened.
Kratu notices Aau’s potential Force powers and tries to convince him to become a Jedi like him. Abat hesitated; she wants to keep her daughter at home. Abat went to the mine. There are lots of polluted crystals there.
Aau follows his father inside, and it seems that his presence causes the crystal to react negatively. Kratu and Abat try to maintain order, but the mountain catches fire.
On the other hand, Aau was using her singing voice, but this time she was singing with all her might. The melody was so powerful that it cleared the mountain’s crystals.
Kratu said he had never seen anything like it. He proposes that he can help strengthen Aau, but he must accompany her. Aa agree. His father said goodbye proudly as Aau was the first of their kind to reach the sky.
Enjoyable and exquisite as this episode is, it suffers a bit for its place in the anthology, presenting another narrative a few young innocent who is forced to leave their home and loved ones to find purpose in the larger world.
