The eleventh Star Trek series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set for release on DVD and other Home media in the United States. It is part of the expanded Star Trek Universe Alex Kursman and serves as a spin-off of the seventh tv series’Star Trek: Discovery‘.
The plot of Strange New Worlds is set a decade before the events of ‘Star Trek: The Original Series’. It revolves around the starship USS Enterprise as Captain Christopher Pike and the rest of the crew continue to explore new worlds across the galaxy.
When Will Star Trek: A Strange New World Release on Home Media?

The first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds was released in Most important+ on May 5, 2022. It ran until July 7 for ten episodes. It is scheduled to be released on DVD, Limited Edition Steelbook format, and Blu-Ray in the United States on March 21, 2023.
But this Home media release will also include a full ninety minutes of extras with bonus features, deleted scenes, audio commentary, and gag reels.
The first season has won Primetime Emmy nominations together with several other awards. A second season is also in development and is likely to be released in 2023.

Mount Anson-

Christopher Pike who is the direct predecessor of Captain Kirk as the captain of the USS Enterprise is played by an American actor Mount Anson who appeared in the role for the first time in 2019 in ‘Star Trek: Discovery‘.
Mount is the fourth actor to play this role. Other television credits include ‘Line of Fire’, ‘The Mountain’, ‘Hell On Wheels’, ‘Inhumans’ etc.
Ethan Peck-

The fan-favorite character of the half-human, half-Vulcan Spock has been replaced by Ethan Peck from ‘Star Trek: Discovery’.
Peck played Patrick Verona as the lead in the tv sitcom The Family’10 Things I Hate About You from 2009 to 2010.
Other television credits include the recurring role of Herman Ackermann in Showtime’s 2020 historical dark fantasy tv series ‘Penny Dreadful: City of Angels’.
Jess Bush-

Australian actress and visual artist Jess Bush can be seen in the role of civil nurse Enterprise Christine Chapel being the second actress to play the role after Majel Barrett in the original series.
Christina Chong-

British actress Christina Chong has played the newly assigned head of security for The Enterprise- La’an Noonien-Singh. Other television credits include ‘Monroe’, ‘Line of Duty’, ‘Ill Behaviour’, ‘Bulletproof’ etc.
Celia Rose Gooding-

The character Nyota Uhura, a cadet on a starship specializing in linguistics, is played by an American actor Celia Rose Gooding in series. She is the third actress to play this character.
Melissa Navia-

The role of highly skilled pilot and veteran Erica Ortegas was played by an American actress Melissa Navia in series. He previously appeared in minor roles in ‘Common Charges’, ‘Dietland’, ‘Bull’ etc.
Babs Olusanmokun-

The role of chief medical officer of The Enterprise- Joseph M’Benga stars a Nigerian-American actor Babs Olusanmokun. Her television credits include ‘Roots’, ‘The Widow’, ‘Too Old to Die Young’, ‘The Drowning’, etc.
Bruce Horak-
The chief engineer of the starship Hemmer is played by a Canadian actor Bruce Horak in series. He previously appeared in minor roles in the tv series ‘Transplant’, ‘In the Dark’, and ‘Warehouse 13’.

Una Chin-Riley aka Number One who is the first officer of a starship and second in command after Captain Pike has been played by an American actress Rebecca Romijn.
She is the second actress to play the role after Majel Barrett in the original series. He first portrayed this role in ‘Star Trek: Discovery’.
