Black Clover, the highly successful anime series, has been paused since season 4 resulted in March 2021.

Yuki Tabata, creator of Black Clover, returns as supervisor for the upcoming film. When is the release date of ‘Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King’?
Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King was supposed to release on March 16, 2023, but was pushed back as a result of COVID-19 issues during production.
Thankfully, the delay only delayed the release by a few months; This film will premiere only on Netflix globally on June 16, 2023.
What’s the story line?
The first film in the Black Clover franchise, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, will feature a wholly new plot.

In this film, he returns with an oath to use the Imperial Sword to revive three of history’s most feared Wizard Kings.
He intends to raise Edward Avalaché, Princia Funnybunny, and Jester Garandaros to rule the magical realms. With Julius Novachrono unable to save the magical realms, the onus lies with Asta and the remaining wizards.

The film is noticeably intense, and ends with Asta exclaiming “Persistence is my magic!” The trailer also includes the song Here I Stand by TREASURE.
