Meanwhile, Isaac, Colin and Will visit Nate in the Taste of Athens and invite him to return to AFC Richmond, but Nate declines the offer because Ted has not personally asked him back.
Sam, Roy and Jamie attend a press conference before their critical game against Manchester City.
However, Jamie is overcome with empathy and springs into action during the press conference. Dottie wins over the team with her stories about Ted’s childhood.
Leslie reveals that Nate is willing to return if invited. Roy agrees to let Nate back in, but Coach Beard is vehemently against the idea.
Before practice, Roy confronts Jamie, who is crying. Jamie explained that returning to his former club Manchester City and facing his father again had taken a toll on his emotional and mental well-being. Roy enlists Keeley’s help lifting Jamie before the big game.
After movie night, Jamie sneaks out of the hotel, and Keeley and Roy follow him to his childhood home.
There, they meet Jamie’s supportive and kind mother. Jamie opened up about his unresolved feelings about his father and his struggles to get back to Manchester. However, Jamie’s mother advises him to let go of the past and prioritize his happiness over success.
During the match, Jamie is booed by Manchester City fans for leaving the club to take part in a reality show.
Nevertheless, Jamie proved his doubters wrong by assisting teammate Colin Hughes with an incredible goal.
AFC Richmond took the lead and kept it because of the excellent skills of goalkeeper Thierry Zoreaux, as he made numerous saves against the City attack.
The win moved Richmond within a point of City, keeping their chances of winning the league alive until the final game of the season.
Despite their complicated past, Jamie received a warm welcome from the City fans, who accepted him when he refused to celebrate a goal against them.
Jamie’s dad watches the game from rehab and is pleased with his son. After returning home, Ted had a heartfelt conversation with Dottie.
While Ted blames him for pretending to be fine after his father’s death, he also expresses gratitude for his selfless actions throughout his life.
Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 11 End: What Happens At The End Of This Episode?

At the end of the episode, Ted shares footage with Coach Beard showing Nate tearing up the “Trust” sign.
However, Ted surprises Coach Beard by showing the full video, revealing that Nate had been stuck in their office for hours before. Ted reminds Coach Beard of the importance of second chances.
Inspired by Ted’s words and reflecting on how Ted gave him a second chance when he was a thief and a convict, Coach Beard decides to visit Nate outside his apartment after Nate loses his job at the restaurant.
Coach Beard offers Nate his job back at AFC Richmond, stressing the opportunity for redemption and growth. This marks the start of Nate’s true journey to redemption as he receives his second chance.
In the episode’s final moments, Ted walks into work for Richmond’s final Gameweek, only to find Rebecca waiting in his office.
While Rebecca generally sent out truth bombs during their annual conversation, this time she kept quiet.
Oddly enough, it is Ted who wants to talk to Rebecca, but the episode ends before any of his words are heard.
It is likely that Ted intends to resign from his job after the season ends and return to the US to reunite with his son, Henry, after he resolves attachment issues through his conversation with Dottie.
In addition, with Nate as a potential replacement for Ted, the chance of Ted returning to his home country as an American football coach opens up.
