The Last of Us Episode 6 was released on February 19, 2023. After an intense episode that ended with two tragic deaths, The Last of Us took a step back this week to dig deeper into the inner lives of its two main protagonists.
While heading to Wyoming to chase Tommy, Joel and Ellie are forced to consider their relationship and how far they will go to find a treatment for a Cordyceps infection.
Joel spends most of the season butchering. Infected with ruthlessness and efficiency, Episode 6, “Kin,” spends time examining the man’s weaknesses and fears. Joel had never been in greater danger. So it seems believable that he might die at the end of Episode 6.
Explanation of The Last of Us Episode 6 Ending?

The main concern for fans who have not played The Last of Us is if Joel dies after falling from his stab wound after episode 6. However, Joel didn’t die after The Last of Us, episode 6.
Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey, was left alone in The Last of Us episode 7 since Joe left her; even though badly injured, he didn’t die but fell from loss of blood.
The cannibal storyline, in which Ellie meets David after trying to get medication to treat Joel’s wounds, may be adapted for future episodes.
Joel explains to Tommy that Tommy’s aging has caught up with him. He lacks the stamina that made him a fearsome warrior for more than 20 years after the apocalypse; he is partially deaf, his body does not react as quickly as it used to, and he is also partially deaf.
While it is normal to get older and see your body’s lack of flexibility, Joel’s physical limitations fuel his anxiety even more. Joel makes excuses to take Ellie to the Fireflies to honor Tess (Anna Torv) the last request.
The fact is that he cares about the girl. Joel then convinces himself that he will be blamed for Ellie’s death as he feels that time has taken away his abilities.
Ellie would ultimately perish because he would not have the ability to save her in time. Joel wasn’t worried about dying, but the thought of losing another daughter left him paralyzed. Ellie had been a daughter to him, and she was just as vulnerable as Sarah (Nico Parker) when she died.
Joel is forced to admit in Episode 6 that Ellie is not Sarah. That appears to be one of those circumstances that will certainly never change, particularly considering the pivotal role Joel has played in the run and how closely the show follows some aspects of the game.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that Joel will survive this. But after all, this is a zombie apocalypse. Everything is feasible.
What will occur in episode 7?

Unfortunately, it did not look like he would recover quickly. The Last of Us episode 7 will mainly center on The Last of Us: Left Behind, DLC which shows Ellie weeks before the game starts as she and Riley explore an abandoned mall will be the main focus of The Last of Us 7 episode, which appears to be the significant flashback episode. Plus, be prepared if the idea of an episode of Ellie’s history does not thrill you enough.
