Disney is well on its way to making live-action films of most of the original’s legendary animated saga. After the success of Pinocchio, the production giant is now ready to release another live-action film based on the animated superhit of its time, The Little Mermaid.
Disney created The Little Mermaid in 1989 which was inspired by the character Ariel by Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, from a book also titled The Little Mermaid. After Disney adopted the character and turned her into the queen of animation, Aerial.

The Little Mermaid Teaser Trailer Starring Halle Bailey
Disney revealed plans to make a live-action film on The Little Mermaid throughout 2016. Previously, fans wanted singer Ariana Grande to play the character Ariel.
After that, speculation arose that Zendaya had been cast in the same role. That’s why when Disney officials said that Halle Bailey will be seen as Ariel, much to the surprise of fans.
All things aside, here’s The Little Mermaid’s teaser trailer.
The teaser is titled WISH, which appears to be a song in a Disney musical saga. It shows Ariel’s underwater world in full form. We can see her kissing Prince Eric too. And even a glimpse of the evil sea witch, Ursula.
