There’s no release date yet as Netflix hasn’t officially announced a release date for The Rats yet, and we’ll must wait and see.
Here’s everything we know about The Rats: The Witcher season 3The first half is now available on Netflix, and it is huge. This season is under more scrutiny because of the pathetic reaction to last year’s live-action prequel, The Witch: Blood Origin. The parent show has a lot to prove, and either way, it excels.
Season 3 will continue with three more episodes. After that, there will be a new season about the Mice, a group of young robbers who steal from the rich and provide to the poor, preferably when it suits them.
We’ve met one of the Mice in future episodes, but the series needs to identify with it: Mistle, played by Christelle Elwin.
When Will the Mice Be Released?

There’s no release date yet as Netflix hasn’t officially announced a release date for The Rats yet, and we’ll must wait and see. Netflix appears to be trying to come up with at least one Witcher-related project every year.
We will not be seeing The Witcher season 4 until at least 2025. It is therefore likely that Netflix will look to release The Rats in 2024 to bridge the gap between Witcher seasons like they did with The Witcher: Blood Origin.

The expected cast of The Rats

The rat will display all six members of the illegal group, according to Redanian Intelligence.
If you have seen The Witcher Season 3 Part 1, you have possibly met Christelle Elwincharacter, Mistle. Mistle was born into a wealthy noble family before being forced to leave during a revolt. He and Ciri share a close bond.
The website also claims that Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren, best known for his role in Rocky IV, had been cast as the mischievous wizard named Brehen and had been in place for most of the filming.
Cast list:
Fabian McCallum as Kayleigh
Christelle Elwin as Mistle
Juliet Alexandra as Coral
Connor Crawford as Asse
Dolph Lundgren as Brehen
Ben Radcliffe as Giselher
Aggy K. Adams as Iskra
What are The Rats all about?

The concept of the Mouse is not based on any of The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski’s books or storylines, instead involving the character and creating his past for them right before they meet Ciri at the end of The Witcher Season 3.
As of now, we have a brief synopsis:
“Six teenage thieves must rely on their criminal talents as they plan the biggest heist of their lives against the kingdom’s deadliest crime ring.”
How many episodes will be in The Rats?

The Rat series began production under the pseudonym ‘Riff Raff’ in Cape Town, South Africa. Production started in late April and is slated to end in September 2023; however, as Redanian Intelligence reported in July 2023, production of the series has concluded.
This sparked discussion as to the final form Rat (or Riff Raff) would take. The number of episodes of The Rats is unknown at this time.
However, maybe only four, similar to The Witcher: Blood Origin. It’s also possible that Netflix turned it into a movie rather than a series.
