Animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions‘ consists of a number of original stories set in the Star Wars universe or inspired by it.
The first volume of the series consists of nine animated short films produced by seven Japanese animation studios particularly Kamikaze Douga, Geno Studio, Studio Colorido, Trigger, Production IG, Kinema Citrus, and Science SARU.
The second volume will feature short films from animation studios in countries such as Spain, Ireland, Chile, United Kingdom, South Korea, France, India, Japan, United States and South Africa. It is slated to release on Disney+ on May 4, 2023.
