Who is Griselda Blanco?

Griselda Blanco, known as the Black Widow or Mother of Cocaine, was a prominent figure in the drug trade and underworld.
He was a key member of Pablo Escobar’s Medellin Cartel and played a key role in starting the cocaine industry.
Based in Miami, Blanco was responsible for organizing the smuggling of cocaine from Colombia to locations such as New York, Miami and Southern California.
His criminal activity was accompanied by extreme violence, with Blanco being linked to at least 200 murders.
Despite her brutal nature, Blanco is also a faithful mother of four. He started his criminal career at a young age and was involved in prostitution during his teenage years. At the peak of his operations, it was reported that he was importing about $80 million worth of pharmaceuticals per month.
In 1985, Blanco was arrested by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), but as a result of local corruption, he managed to avoid the death penalty and was released. He was ultimately deported to Medellin, Colombia, in 2004.
Even from jail, Blanco continues his criminal enterprise through his son, Michael. However, his life ended tragically in 2012 when he was murdered at the age of 69. He was shot twice by a motorcyclist at an open butcher’s shop in Medellin.
